On a wet and rainy Saturday afternoon in late October, millions
gathered to witness a specticle to which none had borne since the
heady days of the first World War. The Boston American League Franchise,
the "Red Sox," carried forth the Commissioner's trophy.
We watched the tail end of the parade from Boston's Museum
of Science parking garage. The team rode by on Boston
Duck Boats, under the bridge, into the Charles and around. We
caught them coming by then again from the inside of the garage as
they floated by on the River Charles ('cause I love that dirty water...).
Since we left our camera in the back of the station wagon, we're
pilfering the Zanettiland
pics - those with whom we celebrated!
How about the theme song for the 1903 World Series Champs?
