These are three early ultrasound pictures of the newest member
of our family.
The left picture here is of a profile of the boy. The right hand
picture has a little digit near his belly - it's not what you might
think, it's his hand.
Not a lot of definition, but there is definitely someone there...a
little someone doubtless, but someone

We found out in February
that we're having a boy. In case you're wondering, the arrows apparently
point that out. The technician had to work pretty diligently to
find out what flavor of baby this guy was going to be, but everyone
cooperated.

Junior
is now a very well developed young man. In this profile you can
clearly see features. He's got himself folded up like a book.
I honestly could not tell you what the middle and right pictures
are showing, although they look suspicously like Pink Floyd album
art. The middle
one may be a magnification of the third, possibly of his face. If
there are any ultrasound technicians out there who could tell us
what these pictures are, We'd welcome the email: jay@morrisseyweb.com |

What a neat profile
shot of the boy. You can see his hand over his belly, some leg,
and pretty good definition of his face. |

July
2005
The boy is finally
here! Daegan is a healthy and happy little boy and we couldn't be
any happier! |
|
|
August
2005
He's a month old
already. Hard to believe. He's such a sweet little baby lump. Has
it really only been a month since he joined our little family? |
|
September
2005
This is the boy
at 2 months old. Pokey Reese and he have been fast friends. |
|
|
October
2005
My goodness. Three
months old. He's growing and changing every day. Next month he'll
be getting ready for his junior prom, by December he'll be filling
out college applications, graduating from Harvard come spring and
picking out his first house by next October.

November
2005
The
boy is four months old. He's healthy and happy. He's been going
to "school" a few days a week in town at a really good
place, but it's difficult for mom and dad to let go.
He loves the other kids
and is really starting to do a lot of things: talking more, pressing
buttons, writting to The Wiggles fan club, reading the Sunday paper,
finishing his masters' degree... |

Look how much he
looks like the little man. He's so wonderful and such a happy little
man. |

A six-month birthday!
Our little man is six months old. He's cutting two teeth, too! His
sister found those. Here, he's wearing Dad's scummy old Reds hat
(no, it's a Cincinnati Reds hat, that's not a typo!).
We had his portrait taken this month as well. Here's a clipping
of the portrait of the boy hanging on our wall. |
 |
February
2006
Here's the little
man all bundled up and ready to head out for his day! Seven months
old already and so far removed from last February's pictures above! |
|
March
2006
Eight months old
already! Where has the time gone? He's got two teeth in, two working
their way in. He's as happy as any young man could be and a joy
to be around. |
|
(Almost)
April 2006
Just about 9 months
old. Four teeth, working on a fifth. Loves his fruits and veggies.
Such a funny little man.
|
|
May
2006
10 Months old. 5,
almost 6, teeth. Working on those Ritz Crackers and loves Chinese
of all things. Look at that mop of hair!!! |
|
June
2006
Oh man, Mom does
do some funny things! He's enjoying his day out in the little red
wagon with big sister and Mom goes and gives him the mohawk treatment.
Zounds, Ma... |

ONE YEAR!!
He's reaching his milestones and is thriving. We love our
little man. He's added so much to our lives, we can't imagine
life without him!!
|
|
August
2006
Oh man, the boy
is getting bigger every day, developing more of his (stubborn at
times) personality, and just figuring things out. He loves his Cheerios
and French Fries. He's also cutting a couple (2!!!) molars which
can't feel good. |
|
 |
September
2006
14 Months old and
getting bigger every day. Look at those teeth! He was
enjoying his day on the water as well. He loves his "munchkins"
and cheese sandwiches. We love him so!
|
|
October
2006
He's just getting
more cool every day. He started walking this month and has taken
a liking to his sister's "shades." Hey man, don't take
my picture... |
|
November
2006
Okay, so it's LATE
October - the 31st to be exact. Here's our little Halloweenie in
his Pooh costume.
He's 16 months old on
the first so what's a few hours among friends?
He's walking all by himself
and is exploring just about everything he can. He still likes those
Cheerios but Reese's Cereal is coming on strong. |

December
2006
The second Christmas
was on it's way, but the little man did very well keeping his cool.
Here he is relaxing in
the late autumn leaves.

January 2007
Here's the hero
of this little story enjoying some chocolatey goodness with his
milk in preparation for the New England Patriots game. |
 |
February 2007
19 months old and
counting. Here he enjoys a little snowfall in his "new"
sled - we'd actually had it on hand for some time before there was
any opportunity to use it and when he could, it was almost too small!
|
 |
March
2007
Here's one that he'll
live to regret for sure. Nothing like taking a tub. |
 |
April
2007
Here is the little man
preferring to look at some cake instead of the camera. |
 |
May
2007
22 months old and almost
continuously changing. He loves his sandbox. Here he's playing with
his big sister contently. |
 |
June
2007
The little man showing
his independence by clicking off the television just after he was
asked not to. |
 |
July
2007
Our little man is 2 years
old. Seems like just yesterday we were looking at those ultrasound
pictures wondering what he would look like, who he would be...we
just couldn't wait to meet him and now he's been here two full years.
