The Patriots
Return with their third multimedia release:
"Beat the Eagles!"
Don't forget the "prequels": Silence
of the Rams, and On The Trail of
the Carolina Panthers
After having dispatched the "high flying"
Indianapolis Colts and their MVP Quarterback for the second
straight year - this year with the added benefit of taking
down a quarterback who had set the single season record
for touchdown passes and holding him to ZERO TD passes -
the national media remembers the Super bowl Champs really
are still in the playoffs. Who wants to bet against them
now? Peyton, it's time to CUT-THAT-MEAT
The Patriots dismantled
the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship game - to
claim the Lamar Hunt Trophy at the expense of the Steelers
for the second time in four years.
Now,
for all the marbles. The Patriots. The Eagles. A dynasty
on the line. With Paul McCartney providing the musical interlude,
the New England Patriots seek their place in history.
How can they lose with their two biggest fans rooting them
on? The girl and Pokey cheering their favorite team.

You've seen the girl preparing for Super Bowl XXIX...here's
a picture of her preparing for the Super Bowl with an "X"
and an "I" reversed. Here's Super Bowl XXXI, January
26, 1997:

Remembering the Road to Super
Bowl XX - 20 Year Anniversary

Your favorite Patriots fans...regretably, this was the
day we lost pretty badly to the San Diego Chargers. Even
with all that mojo.
Well the road to Super Bowl XL fails to take a New England
turn. No more football for the good guys. I would love to
say that Denver was just the better team last Sunday, and
that I should be gracious in defeat. I won't go into poor
officiating, I will only go to the place that has the Patriots
beating themselves. They were clearly the better football
team on the field, but they let themselves make too many
mistakes, and the people who one would least expect to make
them.
Troy Brown, Tom Brady, Adam Vinatieri, and Kevin Faulk
have all played roles in building this dynasty and I refuse
to point the fickle finger of fate at them. Yes, this is
part of the JM1 shameless Patriots Ballwashing section,
but it is afterall built on appreciating the phenomenal
football we have witnessed over the last five seasons. While
there will be no new banner in Foxborough this year, no
one can take away the banners that currently fly.
Thank you Tom, Troy, Adam, Kevin,
Corey, Asante, Rodney, Richard, Benjamin, Christian, Mike.
You're still the best football team.
Go "STILLERS"
2006 Update: Regretably, Willie McGinnest, David Givens,
and Adam Vinatieri have all moved on. I'm most upset about
Vinatieri, but will get over it. Next year's another year,
and that book remains unwritten. At least "First Down"
Troy Brown is back, and for that I am very happy.
Check this out. Maybe I'll put up a Boston Breakers USFL
Ballwashing page.
